Azede Jean-Pierre FW13 Collection Prints and Knits

A full collection of prints and knit designs were made in collaboration with fashion designer Azede Jean-Pierre. The print inspiration came from line screen animations, often employed in children’s books. Generally a transparent sheet of plastic with thin perpendicular lines is moved across a specially designed print that results in an animation. For this collection, a clear vinyl dress and jacket were created with evenly spaced black leather strips to create the same animation effect over the specially prepared designs on the garments beneath.
