After growing up in Lilburn, Georgia, Joseph Veazey attended Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah and Atlanta. After school he interned for and spent two years at Adult Swim on an incredible team designing DVDs, billboards, posters, and a giant inflatable bathing cat. In 2012 he relocated to NYC where he served as Art Director for fashion designer Azede Jean-Pierre, designing her entire identity and first several seasons of lookbooks, invites, and fashion shows. After spending time in New York freelancing for clients such as Vice, Tribeca Film Festival, Nickelodeon, Moog, and Fools Gold Records, he moved back to Atlanta and is currently Senior Designer for Adult Swim. His work has been selected for the Print Magazine Regional Design Annual, American Illustration, Society of Illustrators (3x Gold Medal), Graphis Poster Annual, Communication Arts Design Annual and more, as well as appearing in multiple national and international design books and magazines. Prints he has designed in collaboration with Azede Jean-Pierre have been showcased by Elle, WWD, Glamour, Essence, InStyle and Paper Magazine, and have been worn by Solange, Lady Gaga, Gillian Jacobs, and others. After working for several years as a Senior Designer for Adult Swim and also starring in the online Adult Swim show "Joe's Elongated Coins," he again went solo and is currently accepting freelance work. He is also a part time professor and an active woodcarver in his spare time.
